Bambu X1C

Short answer

Bambu X1C PLA settings start from the machine’s own generic PLA profile and land close out of the box: a 210 C nozzle, a 55 C bed, a flow ratio around 0.95, and the high speeds the X1C is built for. The X1C is a premium, enclosed machine, but PLA is easy enough that the default profile plus a flow calibration is most of the work.

Starting PLA settings for the X1C

These follow the Bambu Lab PLA guide and the generic PLA profile in Bambu Studio. The X1C’s enclosed chamber does not hurt PLA, and its cooling system handles overhangs well, so the defaults are forgiving.

How to adjust PLA settings on the X1C

  1. Pick the generic PLA profile

In Bambu Studio, choose the Bambu or Generic PLA filament profile. It loads the nozzle, bed, flow ratio, and cooling for you.

  2. Dry the spool if needed

PLA tolerates moisture, but a damp spool strings. Dry at 40 to 45 C for a few hours if the finish looks rough.

  3. Run flow calibration

The X1C runs flow calibration from the touchscreen or AMS. Let it set the flow ratio for your exact spool.

  4. Check the first layer

Watch the textured PEI for the first pass. Raise flow a touch if lines gap; lower it if they smush.

  5. Slow outer walls for detail

Cap outer-wall speed around 50 percent for fine models. Infill can stay fast.

PLA on the X1C is usually trouble-free. For the material itself, the PLA hub is the reference, and the PLA print settings page covers profiles. The sibling P1S PLA settings page covers the close-cousin machine.
