Privacy policy

Last updated July 8, 2026

Marqilo runs privacy-protective analytics. We measure which pages people read, we do not run ads, and we do not sell your data. This page lists what we collect, where it lives, how long we keep it, and how you can control or delete it.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of data:

  • Analytics data: which pages you open, how long you stay, and the links you click inside the site. We use it to find what is useful and fix what is not.
  • Your consent choice: a small record that says whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, with a timestamp and a version tag.

We do not run accounts, forms, email sign-ups, or comments in v1. There is no profile tied to you as a person.

Where it lives and for how long

Your consent choice is stored only in your own browser, in a local storage entry calledmarqilo_consent. It does not leave your device because of us.

Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We set GA4 to keep user-level analytics data for 14 months, the longest option Google offers, so we can compare results year over year. Google deletes it after that. GA4 also masks IP addresses by default before storage, so they are not kept in a form that identifies you.

Cookies and local data we set

Nothing is set until you choose. Until then the site stays in a default-denied state.

  • marqilo_consent(local storage): your consent record. Set the moment you click Accept or Reject.
  • _ga and related GA4 cookies: set by Google only after you accept, so your browser can be told apart for analytics. Google controls their lifetimes.

We do not set advertising cookies. No ad network runs on this site.

Who we share it with

Google, as our analytics processor, receives the analytics data described above. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access: see what data we hold.
  • Correct: fix data that is wrong.
  • Delete: erase your data.
  • Export: get a copy in a portable format you can take elsewhere.
  • Object: stop using your data for analytics.

To use any of these, emailprivacy@marqilo.com. We respond within 30 days. The contact is owned by the Marqilo organization, not by a named individual.

Change or withdraw consent

You can change your choice at any time. Open Cookie preferences in the footer to bring the consent banner back and pick Accept or Reject. Clearing your browser storage also removes themarqilo_consentrecord, which shows the banner again on your next visit.
